flat globular, 2.7 in or more in diameter (7 or more cm Ø), red to greenish gray, with thick tap root
ribs circa 11, seperated to flat humps, hump on the flat rib is roundish to chin shaped beaked
5 radial spines, to 0.2 in (0.5 cm) long, spreading, adjacent, transparent, horn colored, base reddish
central spine is absent
flowers to 2.3 in (6 cm) long, slimly tube shaped, inside clean white, reddish
center
seeds hat shaped, brown
